Kitchen Organization Hacks

Nothing makes me happier then a well organized home. I showed you my newly organized pantry a few weeks ago and the feedback from you all was awesome! We just finished renovating our kitchen which I will be sharing very soon, but since we gutted almost the entire thing that gave me the opportunity to start fresh and clean out all of my drawers and cabinets. I wanted to share with you some of my kitchen organization hacks that have simplified my life a bit. Saving my favorite one for the end so be sure to scroll down!

Medication/Supplements

My gosh our old medicine cabinet was a disaster. I kept buying things not realizing we already had it! So this time I bought a bunch of clear bins and have everything categorized together. Kids vitamins, kids medicine, my vitamins/supplements, pain, allergy, stomach, and cold. I may label them but for now I can simply see which is in each bin since they are clear. I also love these bins because they come in a ton of sizes and use them all over the house.

Kids Feeding

This one was very necessary. The kids plates, bowls, and cutlery were all over the place. I purchased deep drawer dividers to keep them separated then this acrylic utensil organizer to keep everything together. It is also great because the drawer is low enough where they can get what they need themselves as well.

Spices/Oils

Wow did I have a ton of expired spices. I purchased this 3 tiered shelve so I can see what I have (again I was buying things not realizing I had it already). I also used these lazy susans so I can spin to grab what oil, vinegar, etc that I may need.

Coffee Station

I will be sharing my coffee station next week in full on the blog but I wanted to give you a little peek on how I keep it organized. I have a coffee drawer and use dividers to separate my KCups. I also have a tea organizer and sugar packet holder to easily access and see those things.

In the cabinet underneath I have a little cup “to-go” station. Our coffee cups, plastic cups, and espresso cups. And underneath that I have a basket of activities for the kids to grab for the car or when we are heading out.

Command Center

In our old kitchen we had a desk which was my little command center. Since I converted that into my coffee station I have dedicated part of it for that purpose. I still need to hang up the calendar on a wall by the garage but keep my planner, files, and all important paperwork organized in some of the pull out drawers with these mail dividers. I also keep our “junk drawer” as organized as possible bins.

Phone Charger Cords

This one is by far my favorite hack, and I am so proud I came up with it myself lol. We had SO many different phone chargers, watch charger, kids tablet chargers, etc and it was just a disaster. So I bought an acrylic tea organizer and the problem has been solved 🙂

xoxo
